Our classes are catered for all skill levels, 7 to 13 years old. We begin with our introductory class, The Art of Hand Sewing. This class helps them develop focus, coordination, and confidence in a calm, hands-on way. Machine sewing & Doll Making is generally introduced from 8 years old, once these foundational skills are in place. Some children may be ready to start machine sewing/doll making earlier than others, and we assess readiness based on focus, ability, and comfort level to ensure a positive and safe learning experience.

If a child is of an older age (9+) they could start the other classes without finishing The Art of Hand Sewing, although we do recommend.

We require no previous experience in sewing. We only require to start with our introductory class The Art of Hand Sewing. If a child is of an older age (9+) they could start the other classes without finishing The Art of Hand Sewing, although we do recommend.

There is plenty of street parking. The studio is located in the foothills of Altadena.

We have a Sibling Discount for signing up two students. Whichever two classes you choose it will automatically give you the discount at checkout. The discount is currently at $50 (per month).

We capture the children's progress through pictures shared with parents and on our Instagram platform. Enrolling in our classes grants permission to use the images on Instagram and our website unless you opt out in writing.

Please make sure you can commit to all registered dates. If your child is sick, I will try my best to find make-up days, we do not promise as logistically our classes are very limited. You also have the option of gifting your seat to a friend if you cannot attend. There is no given credit for no-shows appointments. We can offer a full refund up to 21 days before the start of classes, minus the credit card fees. 20 days before start date you will receive 50% cost of class refund, otherwise I will try find a replacement for your spot to get a full refund.

Studio address will be included in your confirmation email upon receipt of your payment. By signing up to the classes, you are agreeing to our Booking and Cancellation Policy.

Classes require a 3-student minimum, or it may be cancelled and you will be notified a week before classes begin.
